Many people might be wondering what 46/46 is and for that reason we hope this event will be a success. On Wednesday the 24th of October, 46 people from around campus will wear white t-shirts with large X’s on them signifying the 46 million children in sub-Saharan Africa that are currently without an education. Each volunteer will wear the shirt all day, while telling curious onlookers about Building Tomorrow and the problems plaguing the people in Uganda and the rest of sub-Saharan Africa. To accompany the event, we plan on having a table set up in front of Sturm Hall, a particularly busy building, that will enable BT members to share their knowledge to those interested, while allowing the masses to munch on some baked goods and sip some generously donated Kaladis Coffee.
