Our Mission:
As a chapter of Building Tomorrow, our mission is to raise awareness and funds in order to help vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa gain access to education.
Our Objectives:
We feel it is imperative to accomplish these ends by creating a mutually beneficial relationship between Building Tomorrow and the University of Denver. Specifically, through various fund-raising efforts and on-campus involvement, we hope to bring positive attention to the university. The DU chapter of Building Tomorrow is committed to working with the university to improve activism on campus by vigorously recruiting and linking various social groups, departments, and student-organizations under a single cause. As part of our role, we have several outreach programs planned that will serve to widen the DU community. We will work to create a sustainable organization that will fulfill the two-fold purpose of strengthening our local community as well as the global community. Together, as a DU community, we can build a better tomorrow for vulnerable children in Africa.
